Founded in 1956 by Mary Bee Jensen, the BYU International Folk Dance Ensemble is BYU's largest and most versatile folk dance program. With a touring company of about 30 dancers and a total ensemble around 180 participants, this group brings traditional dances to life with precision, energy, and historical depth. Live music by Mountain Strings adds authentic folk accompaniment to every performance.
