BYU Living Legends is a storied performance ensemble celebrating Native American, Polynesian, and Latin American cultures. Formed in 1971 at Brigham Young University (originally The Lamanite Generation), the group has grown into a beacon of cross-cultural storytelling through dance, music, and performance. Across decades, they’ve shared stages worldwide—from the World Expo in Seville (1992) to a BYU-backed presence at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. Their discography centers on the studio release Go My Son (1994) on Tantara Records, and recent video/music projects include I Hope You Know (feat. Ashley Hall), Listen, and Ozhigaabawi (One Stands Ready) in 2021. As you plan a visit to a BYU Living Legends show or look for heritage-inspired performances in the city, we’ve got you covered with reliable, straightforward ticketing and up-to-date event info.
