The live experience
What reaches the room
Caifanes emerged from Mexico City’s vibrant music scene in 1987, quickly becoming a defining act in Mexican rock. The addition of guitarist Alejandro Marcovich in 1989 helped the band craft a distinctive sound that blended post-punk, Nueva Canción influences, and infectious melodies. Their rise culminated in major national and international stages, including a high-profile MTV Unplugged session in 1995, which remains a landmark moment in Latin rock.
