Calgary Expo is one of Canada’s premier pop-culture conventions, held annually at Stampede Park in Calgary, Alberta. Since its beginnings in 2005 as a comic book convention and its expansion in 2009 to include actors and guests, Calgary Expo has grown into a four-day event that brings together fans, vendors, and celebrities from across the entertainment spectrum. Since 2017, the event has been organized by Fan Expo HQ / Informa Connect. With attendance typically reaching 90,000+ fans and 800+ exhibitors, Calgary Expo offers a large-scale media presence, photo ops, signings, panels, and a vibrant cosplay culture. The 2025 edition runs April 24–27 at the BMO Centre, Stampede Park, and the 2026 edition is slated for April 23–26 at Stampede Park.
