The Cambridge Folk Festival is one of Britain's oldest and most respected folk events, founded in 1965 and traditionally staged at Cherry Hinton Hall in Cambridge, England. Organized by Cambridge City Council, the festival has earned international recognition as a premier gathering for folk, roots, Americana, country, blues, and world music across multiple city venues. While the main four‑day festival faced cancellation in 2025, the spirit of Cambridge folk culture remained with Folk in the City, delivering free outdoor concerts and music programs that kept the community connected.
