Candoco Dance Company was established in 1991 by Celeste Dandeker-Arnold OBE and Adam Benjamin as the UK’s first professional inclusive dance company, bringing together disabled and non-disabled dancers to create powerful, expressive performances. Under new co-artistic directors since January 2024, Dominic Mitchell and Raquel Meseguer Zafe, Candoco continues to push the boundaries of contemporary dance with bold collaborations, fearless storytelling, and a commitment to accessibility in the arts. Their work is known for restagings, site-responsive pieces, and high-profile collaborations that have reached audiences worldwide.
