Formed in 2011 in New Orleans, Cane Hill drew inspiration from the city’s heavy music scene and even took their name from the UK’s Cane Hill asylum. After signing with Rise Records in 2015 and releasing their self-titled EP the same year, they followed with Smile in 2016. Their second album Too Far Gone (2018) climbed to the top of the Billboard Heatseekers chart and reached No. 8 on the Independent Albums chart. In 2019, Cane Hill went independent and released music on their own terms. Their 2024 release, A Piece of Me I Never Let You Find, marked a continued evolution for the band, with singles like ecstasy in grief, The Midnight Sun, Fade (Into You), and Permanence in Sleep paving the way for the 2025 release tour.
