Cape Ann Youth Chorus Tickets

Founded in September 2024 as Rockport Music’s Cape Ann Youth Chorus (CAYC), this dynamic program brings together young singers ages 8–18 for high-quality vocal training and performances within the Shalin Liu Performance Center ecosystem. Under the direction of Kristina Martin and Thom (Thom) Smoker, CAYC is part of Rockport Music’s broader education initiatives and benefits from affiliations with Cape Ann Arts Alive and the Cape Ann Divas, who helped launch the program in its early days.

As a staple of Rockport’s cultural scene, CAYC focuses on healthy vocal development, musical storytelling, and community engagement. The chorus rehearses and performs in venues that support intimate, high-caliber concerts, making the Shalin Liu Performance Center a natural home for many of their offerings.

Upcoming highlights include the inaugural spring concert on May 19, 2025 in Rockport, MA, presented in partnership with Rockport Chamber/Chamber of Commerce. This event represents the chorus’ first major spring showcase and a continued stride in Rockport Music’s education mission.
