Capital Dance Project (CDP) is a Sacramento-based, dancer-run contemporary dance company founded in 2015. Committed to collaborative, inclusive performing arts, CDP uplifts the local community through innovative performances, community programs, and ambitious festival work. The company operates with fiscal sponsorship from Empire Arts Collective, supported by ties to Blue Line Arts, ensuring nonprofit stability while focusing on artistic experimentation and community engagement.

CDP’s mission centers on collaboration, accessibility, and neighborhood impact.
