Renowned as a living flamenco legend, she has shaped the art form with a powerful voice, deep artistry, and a career spanning decades. Her work on Antología de la Mujer en el Cante (1996) brought attention to the contributions of women in flamenco and continues to influence artists today. A recipient of the Premio Princesa de Asturias de las Artes (2022) and the Latin Grammy Lifetime Achievement (2023), Linares remains a vital voice in contemporary flamenco.
