Carrianne Leung is a Canadian fiction writer and educator based in Toronto. With a PhD in Sociology and Equity Studies from OISE/University of Toronto, Leung has built a career at the intersection of storytelling, research, and teaching. Her debut novel, The Wondrous Woo, was shortlisted for the 2014 Toronto Book Award, signaling her emergence as a powerful voice in contemporary Canadian literature. Her linked-story collection That Time I Loved You (2018) won the Danuta Gleed Literary Award in 2019 and was named one of CBC’s Best Books of 2018.
