Central Ohio Youth Ballet (COYB) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization in Newark, Ohio, offering concert-level training and performance opportunities for young dancers. Founded in 1994, COYB presents Nutcracker and a Spring Production, with dancers typically aged 8–18 and occasional adult guest artists. COYB’s Nutcracker has a rich venue history in central Ohio. The Midland Theatre in Newark has hosted Nutcracker performances since 2000, with The Woodward Opera House in Mount Vernon joining the rotation to broaden access.
