Central Virginia Dance Academy (CVDA) brings professional ballet technique together with dynamic commercial dance in a welcoming, inclusive environment in the Richmond area. Founded in 2008 by Anne Wash, CVDA operates from its studio at 2812 E Parham Rd, Henrico, VA 23228. The academy emphasizes community, production-focused programming, and performance opportunities that let dancers of all levels shine.

CVDA's annual Showcase, held at the Carpenter Theatre (Dominion Energy Center) in downtown Richmond, is a highlight of the season, bringing together CVDA students and guest dancers for a production-filled evening. The 2026 CVDA Showcase is scheduled for June 6–7, with rehearsals June 3–5. The 2026 Alice in Wonderland CVDA Gala will take place at the Glen Allen Cultural Arts Center on April 18–19. The 2025–2026 Season runs from September 2025 through June 1, 2026, offering regular classes, performances, and community events.
