Charbel Rouhana is a renowned Lebanese oud player, composer, and educator whose work spans traditional Arabic music and innovative fusion with contemporary jazz. He is credited with developing a distinctive oud playing method and has built a notable academic career at institutions such as Kaslik and the National Conservatory of Music. A pioneer of oud jazz, Rouhana founded the Beirut Oriental Ensemble, bringing traditional melodies into modern ensembles and global audiences.
