Founded in 2008 by Charlton Singleton as part of Jazz Artists of Charleston, the ensemble evolved when Robert Lewis took over as Music Director in 2019. The group has welcomed notable collaborators and guest artists, including Paquito D’Rivera, Charlton Singleton (Ranky Tanky), Camille Thurman, Wycliffe Gordon, Quiana Parler, and Lowcountry Voices.
