Premiering in 2016 at Ship's Company Theatre in Parrsboro, Nova Scotia, Chasing Champions has since been revived in Halifax (Eastern Front Theatre) and brought to the National Arts Centre in Ottawa in 2018, where it ran from November 13–24 at the Azrieli Studio as part of NAC English Theatre. The production earned six Robert Merritt Awards in 2017, including Outstanding New Play and Outstanding Production, with Jacob Sampson receiving Outstanding Actor for his portrayal of Langford.
