Chef Luke Thomas is more than a chef—he's a culinary performer blending high-energy cooking with engaging storytelling. Born on 2 October 1993 in Connah's Quay, North Wales, Luke rose to prominence after winning FutureChef in 2009, setting the stage for a vibrant career in UK culinary circles. From becoming the UK’s youngest head chef at Sanctum on the Green (Luke's Dining Room) in 2012 to relaunching Blacks in Soho as co-owner and chef in 2019, his journey blends innovation with a love of classic flavors. In 2021, he expanded into restaurant ventures as CEO/co-owner of Café Habana NYC. An author as well, he published Luke's Cookbook: 100 Classic Favourites Given a Modern Makeover (Penguin, 2014).
