Cherryholmes is a six-member family bluegrass ensemble formed in 1999 by Jere and Sandy Cherryholmes, joined by their children to create a captivating, family-forward sound. Signed to Skaggs Family Records in 2005, the group earned IBMA Entertainers of the Year and captured nominations across the awards circuit, touring iconic venues and festivals including Lincoln Center, Bonnaroo, and CMA Fest. Their discography, released between 2001 and 2010, features Grammy-nominated albums Cherryholmes III: Don't Believe and Cherryholmes IV: Common Threads, with the track Tattoo of a Smudge receiving a nomination for Best Country Instrumental Performance in 2011. While the band disbanded in 2011, Cherryholmes remains a cherished legacy in bluegrass, with active social channels that keep fans connected to archival releases and ongoing fan content.
