The live experience
What reaches the room
The Chesapeake Bay Blues Festival is a storied name in American blues, founded in 1998 by Don Hooker and his daughter Sarah (Petska) as Chesapeake Bay Events. For 24 years, the festival called Sandy Point State Park in Annapolis, Maryland its home, delivering rain-or-shine blues celebrations that united fans, performers, and local charities. While the festival officially concluded after the 2022 edition, its legacy lives on in the memories of countless performances and the charitable impact it generated.
