Chicago City Limits is a storied improvisational theatre company with roots in Chicago and a long-standing presence in New York. Founded in 1977 in Chicago, the troupe moved to NYC in 1979 and established its own theatre in 1980. Known for audience-inspired improv, sharp sketch comedy, and social/political satire, they’ve earned multiple MAC Awards for Best Comedy/Improv Group and have a legacy of touring and training that continues today.
