Children's Theater of Madison Tickets

Since its founding in 1965, Children's Theater of Madison (CTM) has been a cornerstone of theatre for young audiences in Wisconsin. Established by Gertrude Burley, Mary Ann McHug, Jean Riley, and Nancy Thurow, CTM began by touring productions to Dane County, Washington, DC, and even London. As a dedicated Theatre for Young Audiences (TYA) company, CTM blends engaging storytelling with education, offering dynamic programs through the CTM Theater Academy and the Summer Stage program. In 2008, CTM joined the TYA community and expanded its educational partnerships and community outreach. A permanent home was secured in 2018 with the move to the Madison Youth Arts Center (MYArts), strengthening production space and educational opportunities for local youth.

Now entering its 60th Anniversary season (2025–2026), CTM presents seven shows at the Overture Center and MYArts. Audiences can look forward to beloved titles like Matilda The Musical, Winnie the Pooh (And His Pals Too!), The Pigeon Gets a Big Time Holiday Extravaganza, and A Christmas Carol.
