Chinese Connection Dub Embassy Tickets

Chinese Connection Dub Embassy (CCDE) has been a driving force in the Memphis reggae scene since 2010. Formed by Omar and brothers David & Joseph Higgins, the project carried on after Omar's passing in 2019, continuing to deliver Memphis-infused reggae with a conscious edge. CCDE blends reggae, roots reggae, and dancehall with a distinctly southern vibe, earning a reputation for powerful live performances and uplifting messages.

From the debut LP The Firm Foundation (2013) to the 2020 Crew Vibez release on the IDP label, CCDE has evolved while staying true to its roots. The band has shared stages with notable acts and performed at major festivals, while maintaining an active touring schedule in Memphis and beyond. Their upcoming 2025–2026 tour dates mark continued engagement with fans at venues like Uptown Porch Series and The Green Room at Crosstown Arts, plus tribute events honoring reggae legends.

CCDE’s discography highlights include singles Tyrant and Heavy Meditation from The Firm Foundation, as well as 2020’s Crew Vibez, which signals a shift toward dancehall and Roots with a Memphis flavor. 2024–2025 saw Stay Focused, Swing My Way (Feb 2025), and People Power (May 2025) expand their catalog and reach new audiences. The group has opened for artists such as T-Pain, The Wailers, and The Slackers, and continues to perform at historic Memphis venues and festivals including Beale Street Music Fest, Wakarusa, Grateful Fest, and The Green Room @ Crosstown Arts.
