Chocolate Milk emerged from the fertile funk and soul scene of New Orleans in 1974 as an eight-piece powerhouse known for tight grooves, dynamic horn arrangements, and a sound that blended funk, R&B, and later disco influences. They served as Allen Toussaint’s live and studio backing band and even recorded with Paul McCartney, adding to their storied legacy in American funk music.
