The Choral Arts Society Of Washington (CASW) is one of the nation’s premier choral ensembles, rooted in a rich 60-year tradition of artistry and education. Founded in 1965 by Norman Scribner, CASW comprises three ensembles: the Choral Arts Chorus, the Choral Arts Chamber Singers, and the Choral Arts Youth Choir. Based in Washington, DC, the company regularly collaborates with the National Symphony Orchestra and performs on iconic stages such as the Kennedy Center and Wolf Trap. In the 2024–25 season, Marie Bucoy-Calavan serves as artistic director, guiding a repertoire that ranges from classical masterworks to contemporary choral literature.
