Chorale Acadienne is a cornerstone of Acadiana’s choral tradition, founded in 1979 in Lafayette, LA. The ensemble is dedicated to presenting choral masterworks to Acadiana audiences, spanning from Renaissance to contemporary works and featuring Louisiana Acadian tunes and the renowned Messe Acadienne by Charles Reynolds. With a history of collaborations with major orchestras and prestigious venues, Chorale Acadienne continues to bring world-class choral music to the region.

From its early performances with the Baton Rouge and New Orleans Symphonies to landmark appearances at the Kennedy Center in 1994 and Carnegie Hall, this ensemble has earned recognition for its musical depth and community impact. In 2005, the group received the Governor’s Arts Award for outstanding small arts organization, underscoring its role as a trusted cultural ambassador for Louisiana’s Acadian heritage.

On the 2025–2026 season, Chorale Acadienne invites audiences to a diverse lineup: Fall Concert on Oct 7, 2025 at St. Mary Catholic Church; Christmas by Candlelight on Dec 2 and Dec 5, 2025; Spring Concert on Mar 19, 2026; and Moonlight and Music on May 12, 2026 at Dream Castle Event Venue.
