Chris Sarandon is a celebrated actor, voice artist, and stage performer with a career spanning film, television, and Broadway. Nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for Dog Day Afternoon (1975) and honored with Golden Globes recognition the same year, Sarandon has left an indelible mark on genres from horror to romance to fantasy. He is known for memorable screen roles such as Jerry Dandrige in Fright Night (1985) and Prince Humperdinck in The Princess Bride (1987), as well as lending his voice to Jack Skellington in The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993) alongside Danny Elfman’s singing voice. Beyond screen, Sarandon has contributed to Broadway through original casts and recordings, including Nick & Nora (Original Broadway Cast, 1997) and The Light in the Piazza (Original Broadway Cast Recording, 2005).
