Chum - A Tribute to Phish is a seasoned Bay Area-based Phish tribute act formed around 2010. Known for razor-sharp precision and organic improvisation, Chum recreates Phish’s evolution from 1.0 through 4.0 with a tight, high-energy live show. The band features John Greene (keys & vocals), Alex Bowman (drums & vocals), Chad Kimner (bass & vocals), and Eric Schiff (guitar & vocals). In August 2017, the group celebrated a notable moment when Phil Lesh joined them for Wolfman’s Brother at Terrapin Crossroads, a highlight echoed in local press coverage and fan memories. Chum’s discography consists of live recordings available via the Internet Archive (Live Music Archive), underscoring their focus on immersive, jam-friendly performances rather than studio releases.
