Founded in 1958 by Margo Marshall, City Ballet of Houston (CBH) operates as a nonprofit honor company affiliated with Regional Dance America/Southwest (RDASW). Under the artistic leadership of Mary Elizabeth Arrington and with Artistic Advisor Luis Fuente, CBH links professional instruction with community outreach through the Academy of City Ballet of Houston (ACBH). The company is renowned for its diverse repertoire, spanning traditional ballets and contemporary works, performed by dancers who have trained and performed with major companies worldwide. CBH also champions youth access through the Inner City Nutcracker outreach program, reaching thousands of local youth each year.
