Classics 4 emerged from Jacksonville in 1965 and quickly became a fixture of the era’s radio playlists. Their breakthrough hits — Spooky, Stormy, and Traces — propelled them onto the national stage and earned them RIAA Gold discs. The band’s signature sound blends lush vocal harmonies with accessible, melodic pop-rock, making their music timeless for listeners across generations. In 1993, Classics 4 earned induction into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame, securing their legacy in the broader Southern music scene.
After the Dennis Yost era, the group reformed in 2001, continuing to tour under the leadership of Tom Garrett. Today, Classics 4 remains active on the road, delivering nostalgic performances that celebrate the classic hits while inviting audiences to relive golden memories of the 60s and 70s. In addition to their iconic catalog, they’ve released new material such as A New Horizon (2011) and One Stormy Night (Live at the Ritz) (2015), showing a dedication to staying connected with fans through fresh interpretations and live recordings.
