Hailing from Clemson, South Carolina, Cleansing of the Temple burst onto the scene in 2019 with a heavy blend of deathcore, slam, and sludge elements. The project describes its sound as \'Slam for the Lamb\', a distinctive take that fuses brutal riffs with dynamic breakdowns. In 2024, Cleansing of the Temple signed with Rottweiler Records and released their debut full-length album, The Devil Knows My Name, produced/mixed/mastered by Glenn Gizzi, known for his Phinehas connections. The band continues to build a reputation for high-energy performances and a relentless sonic approach.
