The Cleveland Crush were a standout part of Ohio sports history, founded in 2011 as an expansion team in the Lingerie Football League (LFL) and based in Cleveland, Ohio. They played home games at downtown Cleveland's Quicken Loans Arena, now known as Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, before relocating to Toledo in 2014 and rebranding as the Toledo Crush with home games at Huntington Center. The LFL rebranded to Legends Football League in 2013, and the Cleveland Crush continued under the LFL name through 2013. Operations were suspended in 2015, and there have been no active revivals through 2025–2026. While this is a sports franchise rather than a music performer, we’ve compiled a concise historical profile and what to know about the team’s impact on Ohio sports culture.
