Founded in 2012 by artistic director Tanya W. Call, Cohesion Dance Project (CDP) is a Helena-based company that blends contemporary dance with immersive live music, poetry, and visual art. CDP emphasizes inclusive, adaptive dance through programs like Adaptive Dance and the Accelerated Contemporary Experience (ACE), providing opportunities for dancers from ages 10 to adult. Led by a professional dancer and physical therapist background, CDP crafts performances that are both technically refined and emotionally engaging.

CDP’s flagship production, Shira Greenberg’s Nutcracker on the Rocks, reimagines the holiday classic with a rock-n-roll twist, immersive live music, and even a Harley-Davidson on stage, creating an unforgettable experience in Helena that showcases creativity and community. Upcoming in Helena for 2025, Cohesion Dance Project invites audiences to experience Resonance at the Helena Civic Center on May 15, 2025, followed by Nutcracker on the Rocks on November 29–30, 2025.
