Color Me Goodwill is a vibrant Asheville-based performer and artist collective born from Goodwill’s creative community in western North Carolina. Rooted in resilience, the project evolved from Color Me Goodwill, an annual design-and-performance collaboration that started around 2015. By 2019, local press highlighted its fifth year, underscoring the enduring partnership between design teams, performers, and Goodwill employment programs. In recent years, the event has been reimagined as Color Me Asheville, continuing the mission of turning upcycled fashion into a force for good.

Models, drawn from the Goodwill employment network, bring the creations to life, while audiences celebrate creativity, community, and fundraising for local partners. The stage often centers at The Orange Peel in downtown Asheville, with ticketing historically managed through the venue’s box office. Color Me Goodwill’s/Asheville’s event calendar reflects a dedication to community healing, resilience, and opportunity through the arts.
