Founded by Jerry Stevenson and Jim Litzinger, the company started with programming at the Sarah Nance Cultural Arts Center Arts Incubator and has since grown to offer both Mainstage productions featuring professional adult actors and YouTheatre, which provides youth performance opportunities. In 2023, the company relocated to the Brookland-Lakeview Empowerment Center in West Columbia, SC, continuing to tour and expand Midlands field-trip programming.
