Come Dance with Me - Ballet is a pivotal work within the Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch repertoire, rooted in the groundbreaking choreographic vision of Pina Bausch. Premiering in the 1976/77 season with original performances dating to 1977, this piece blends movement with spoken text and theatrical elements, using traditional folk songs to explore themes of gender stereotypes, sexuality, and violence on stage.
