People behind the production
HYPROV, the Comedy Hypnosis Show, brings together hypnotism, improv, and live music for a one-of-a-kind stage experience. Created by Asad Mecci, Colin Mochrie, and Jeff Andrews, this act blends hypnosis with quick-witted improv led by Mochrie and hypnotic engagement guided by Mecci. The production has grown from a 50-city North American tour in 2019 to a Las Vegas residency at Harrah’s (began 2023) and an Off-Broadway debut in 2022, with ongoing touring through 2025–2026. The show also features original musical cues crafted for the performance, with notable contributions from artists such as Rufus Wainwright. In 2025, HYPROV premiered a CBC Gem worldwide streaming event on October 17, expanding its audience beyond live stages. Whether you’re in a major city or a regional stop, secure your seats for a night of laughs, astonishment, and unforgettable moments.
