People behind the production
The Connecticut Gay Men's Chorus (CGMC) has been a cornerstone of Connecticut’s LGBTQ+ arts community since its founding in 1986 in New Haven. From its beginnings as one of the first openly gay men’s choruses in the state, CGMC has grown into a versatile ensemble that traverses Broadway-style show tunes, classical choral literature, jazz, and popular tunes. Known for fully staged revues that blend humor with heartfelt music, CGMC has long balanced concert performances with community outreach, including the Bingomania fundraiser series. Their signature programming blends top-tier vocal artistry with engaging storytelling, making every show a memorable experience.
