Consider The Source (CTS) delivers a distinctive blend of sci-fi inspired Middle Eastern fusion fused with heavy instrumental work. Since their inception, CTS has carved out a niche in the progressive scene with complex rhythms, melodic lines, and a fearless approach to genre-bending. With a career spanning major festivals and intimate club gigs, CTS has built a loyal following among listeners who crave energetic live experiences and intricate compositions. Their 2024 release, The Stare, produced by David Prater (Dream Theater), showcases CTS’s refined production and adventurous arrangements, distributed through independent channels and CTS’s own network.

CTS’s discography highlights include Hybrid Vol. 1: Such As A Mule (2021) on Ropeadope Records, highlighting the band’s acoustic/electric hybrid approach. Earlier, the band earned early critical recognition with Esperanto (2007), noted by Howard Mandel among his 2007 favorites. The group has a rich history performing at major festivals such as Electric Forest, Peach Festival, Gathering of the Vibes, ProgDay, and Progtober, cementing their status as a key fixture in the progressive scene.

In 2025, CTS continued to tour across multiple venues, including The Stone Church (NH), Underground Arts (Philadelphia), Arch Street Tavern (Hartford), and Middle East Downstairs (Cambridge), with additional December appearances. Fans can also anticipate a 10-year anniversary vinyl reissue of World War Trio, announced in 2025 and celebrated by Grateful Web and the CTS community.
