Contemporary Dance Works is a respected Knoxville-based nonprofit dance company founded in 2003 by Lisa Hall McKee. Each season, the company engages approximately 50 dancers aged 12 and up, blending classical ballet, contemporary styles, and aerial performance to create full-length ballets and innovative concert programs. Based in Knoxville, Tennessee, the company collaborates with the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra for holiday and education concerts, bringing high-caliber live music and dance to communities throughout the region.
