Conversing with Oceans is an indie rock project that blossomed from a solo venture into a tight-knit four-piece, delivering immersive songs and energetic live performances. Since forming in 2016, frontman Alex Bondarev has steered the band through collaborations, global distribution, and notable festival showcases. Today, the lineup features Bondarev (lead vocals/guitar), Christopher Ragone (lead guitar), John Endico (bass), and Daniel Castro (drums), delivering a sound built on storytelling, melodic hooks, and dynamic arrangements.

Conversing with Oceans released their debut LP Wild / Dreams through The Orchard, followed by a headlining show at The Mercury Lounge in New York City to celebrate the record. The project has collaborated with notable names in mixing and production, including Nate Fox, and previously worked with John Forté on earlier EP material. A highlight of their journey was SXSW, where The Gold Rush led to a one-on-one showcase with Randy Jackson, underscoring the band’s growing recognition in the indie scene.
