Founded in 1998, Cooder Graw released their debut album Home at the Golden Light (1998) and followed with the studio album Cooder Graw (2000). They achieved Texas-chart success with tracks like Willie's Guitar, New Dress, and Better Days reaching the top 10 on regional charts. The band gained broader attention after Llano Estacado featured in Dodge truck commercials, boosting their profile. By 2004, six studio albums had been released, with a reunion-era EP, Love to Live By, arriving in 2016. After resuming touring in 2012, Cooder Graw continues to bring their high-energy sound to venues across Texas.
