Craig Bell is a pivotal figure in underground and alternative rock, evolving from the early proto-punk and garage scenes to a sustained path through post-punk and independent rock. Born in 1952 in Elmira, New York, Bell grew up in Cleveland before making Indianapolis home in 1989. Across decades, he has been a driving force in a range of influential projects, from Mirrors and The Saucers to Rocket From The Tombs, The Plan, The Bell System, Gizmos, and beyond. His work spans studio albums, live recordings, and meticulously curated reissues, capturing the raw energy and inventive spirit of underground rock.
