Craig Kier is a distinguished American conductor, educator, and artistic leader renowned for shaping opera programs and enriching community engagement through music. As Director of Arts For All at the University of Maryland, he serves as Professor of Voice & Opera and Professor of Conducting & Ensembles, and since 2014 has directed the Maryland Opera Studio. Since 2020, Kier has been the Artistic & Music Director of Annapolis Opera, guiding repertoire, programming, and outreach for the company.
