Creole Stomp, founded in 2002 by Dennis Stroughmatt and Robert Russell, is a cornerstone of upper-MMississippi Valley French Creole musical traditions. Often described as the Grateful Dead of Creole music, they fuse Cajun, Creole, and Zydeco with blues, swamp pop, and Western Swing influences. Their live shows are known for marathon jams and dancer-driven energy, making every performance a community event.
