Crescendo Amelia is a dynamic performer collective rooted in the rich traditions of jazz, big band, and swing, trusted by audiences from Jacksonville to Fernandina Beach. Founded around 2013–2014 by Amelia Island drummer Frank Basile and now led by trumpeter Dennis Negrin, the ensemble travels through a repertoire that spans more than a century—from the 1920s to contemporary favorites. We’ve got you covered for a memorable show, with a robust history of productions and a dedication to accessible, live music that keeps the dance floor moving.

Based in Northeast Florida, Crescendo Amelia combines tight brass work, lush arrangements, and crowd-pleasing performances like How the Big Band Stole Christmas, the Masquerade Ball, Dancing through the Decades, and the Red, White & Swing series.
