Crystal Garden is a rock-inspired project formed in 2015 by Boyd Tinsley, best known for his work with Dave Matthews Band, alongside Mycle Wastman, Charlie Csontos, and Matt Frewen. The band fused violin and guitar-led arrangements to create a modern, dynamic sound. Their debut album, Let The Rocks Cry Out, arrived digitally in March 2017 and became available physically in April 2017, produced by Boyd Tinsley with contributions from jazz guitarist Stanley Jordan on select tracks. Featured tracks include the single People, along with Dream Captain, This Old House, Devil Woman, and Wake the Funk Up. Crystal Garden toured extensively in 2017 across the United States, bringing their distinctive blend of strings-led rock to cities like Chicago, Detroit, Houston, Indianapolis, and the Buffalo area.
