Culprit is a foundational Seattle metal act with roots tracing back to the early 1980s. Originally active from 1982 to 1985 and re-emerging in 2010, the band features a current lineup of Scott Earl, Gabriel Colon, Fred Aching, and P.J. Toyne. They are best known for their debut studio album Guilty as Charged (1983) on Shrapnel Records, a record later reissued by Hellion Records in 2000.
