CVSO, founded in 1975, brings five major concerts each season to Eau Claire, Wisconsin, featuring local musicians alongside world-class soloists. For decades, Maestro Nobuyoshi Yasuda has guided the orchestra, now concluding his 33-year tenure in the 2025–2026 season. CVSO’s Passport to Music showcases world-music themes—melding traditional non-Western elements, such as Korean drum dance, with Western orchestra repertoire and the CVSO Young Artist Competition Solo. All concerts are held at the Pablo Center at the Confluence in Eau Claire, with tickets available through the Pablo Center box office or AXS.
