Biography highlights: Formed in Brooklyn in 2016 as a five-piece, Damn Jackals quickly carved out a place in the DIY rock landscape. Their self-released debut album, Crooked Castle Vol I, dropped on May 25, 2018, establishing a foundation of dark, melodic energy that would propel their subsequent releases. The lead single Lovely Nuthin’ arrived in July 2021 with a sold-out release show at Our Wicked Lady in Brooklyn, signaling a growing regional footprint. In July 2022, the trio of tracks that comprise Rivals marked the band’s first vinyl release, a milestone for their evolving sound.
