Damnationland Tickets

Damnationland is Maine’s premier Halloween-style short film showcase, founded in 2010 by Eddy Bolz, Allen Baldwin, and David Meiklejohn. What began as a local, all-M Maine shorts event quickly grew into a renowned invitational program dedicated to horror, thriller, and other dark genres. The festival regularly brings world premieres and Maine-made shorts to audiences across the state, in addition to its flagship screenings in Portland at The State Theatre.

Beyond film, Damnationland curates the Damnationland: Music for the Wicked soundtrack series (Vol I–Vol V), highlighting Maine musicians and composers who contribute to festival films. The organization celebrated its 13th anniversary in 2025 (Damnationland XIII), underscoring its enduring influence on Maine’s genre cinema and local music scenes.
